PROTECT would like to thank everyone for their hard work and participation in this year’s annual SRP meeting!

The theme of this year’s meeting was “SRP Collaboration for Innovation”, and took place from November 18-20th at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The SRP annual meeting brought together more than 350 researchers, trainees, and administrators supported by the program, representatives from partner agencies, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), and others addressing human and environmental health challenges related to Superfund and other hazardous waste sites. The meeting included poster sessions, RTC/CEC and training activities, scientific sessions and field trips. Keynote speakers included Phil Bourne (NIH), Jeff Heimerman (US EPA) and Rachel Morello-Frosch (UC-Berkeley). The meeting was highly productive and collaborative- thank you to everyone who attended and contributed.
